Wilderness times, in the Bible, are laden with possibility for growth and change. God’s people move through the wilderness so God can deepen their faith before the battles of the Promised Land. Exile in Babylon precedes a return and restoration of Israel. Jesus goes to the wilderness after his baptism to get ready for his ministry. Is there a wilderness time you’re facing? How does God want to use that? How do you want to emerge? In what ways will you be different when you step into what’s next? But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
